Thermoform plastic sheets can be readily cut to size with a table saw, jigsaw, handsaw, router, or waterjet, and holes can be drilled into them. They can also be bent and shaped using a heat gun. ABS material delivers a well-rounded combination of mechanical toughness, wide temperature range, good dimensional stability, chemical resistance, electrical insulating properties, and ease of fabrication.
