Question 1

Which way is the airflow? A review mentioned it is not indicated.

I just slapped my fan into my case and it was flowing outward away from the case. However I'm sure you could just flip it if anything to get the reverse. Not 100% on that.I no longer have the fan, I donated my pc to a cousin when I built my new one.

Would this be compatible with my Gateway DX4831?

You would need to measure the hole spacing for the fan location on the back of your PC case (left-to-right or top-to-bottom).

Can't tell just from looking at the Gateway DX4831 pictures on Newegg, but your case appears to have 2 sets of mounting holes for the rear fan vent.  You will be free to get any fan that matches that hole spacing.

Where would i hook up these fans??

In your pc case. Most pc cases support 120 mm fans.. For example mine has two in the front, one in the back, one on the side panel, and a larger 140 on top. They can hook up directly into your motherboard or they come with molex adapters so you can just plug them into your power supply and they will kick on when your computer is on.

Would two of these work with the Enermax Black Twister CPU Cooler? I want to use these to replace the stock Blue LED Fans

Not sure which CPU cooler you have but most (if not all) CPU fans will use a 4 pin connector so the motherboard can control the fan speed. While this has a 4 pin adapter the motherboard still would not be able to control the fan speed.

Does this fan come with a 3 pin to 4 pin molex adapter as it shows in the picture?

It's a great fan, really quiet. I would recommend it.

Is this the same fan that comes with the Ostrog Enermax GT?

I cannot say for sure that is or is not the fan that you are referring to but I can tell you it is a great fan.  I don't ask much I guess but I want it to run and not make any noise, it does both.
