This product cannot use SATA protocol M2 solid state disk. This kind of adapter card is suitable for PCIe x4 M. 2 NGFF (must be AHCI and NVME protocol) 2280 (22mm wide, 80mm long) SSD.
Applicable to 2013 2014 2015 MACBOOK Air/Pro SSD M-2 NGFF adapter card. The adapter card only supports 22*80mm M.2 NGFF PCIe x4 AHCI SSD, and does not support M.2 NGFF PCIe x4 NVMe SSD.
