I set everything up the old Samsung Macbook 256 SSD, plugged the adapter box USB into the usb port on my mac to view the drive and.....NOTHING... Am I doing something wrong? I expected there to be a light, a slight 'whirring' sound, even a 'womp, womp, womp' after the failure... nothing however is quite underwhelming and concerning. Is the adapter itself a dud?? Help please!

If your SSD is MAC OS formatted, it isn’t compatible with Windows OS. Please delete the old partition and create a new partition in 'Disk Manager' in Windows.
