Before you clone, please noted:

  1. The target drive have to be at least equal or larger in capacity than the source drive.
  2. Please confirm your source drive and target drive both can work properly, and target drive have no data. If you have existing data on the target drive, the cloning process will eliminate your target drive's data. Because the target drive will be cloned to be the same as the source drive, partition, format and data are the same too.
  3. If you have existing data both on the target drive and the source drive, and your want to save the data on your target drive at the same time, Please connect to the computer and transfer the data of your target drive to the source drive, then you can enjoy offline drive-to-drive cloning.

It is not compatible with IDE drives

SSK HDD docking station is not compatible IDE drives.It compatible with all 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SATA HDD and SSD.

Attention: This HDD docking station DK103 is our updated design. We put the CLONE Button on the front according to the user's opinion. In addition, the firmware has been updated to ensure that the data will not be corrupted under normal use.

Note: Due to the hard disk properties, please timely backup your data stored on the Hard disk In case of loss.

 

To use Hard Drive Offline Clone Function:

  • 1. Insert Source Disk into hard drive bay A, then insert Target Disk into hard drive bay B.

  • 2. Make sure that the USB cable is disco

  • 2. Make sure that the USB cable is disconnected from your computer.

  • 4. Hold down the CLONE button , release when you see all lights flashing.

  • 5. Then quickly press the CLONE Button.

  • 6. A Yellow LED will flash on 25% indicating that the cloning process has begun.

  • 7. The cloning process is complete when you hear the'Bang noise'for three times (25%-100%).

  • 8. Finally press the power switch to the OFF position and eject your drives.

Please do not directly unplug the drives that is cloning data. The correct way is when cloning process is complete , you will hear the'Bang noise'for three times, At this time you can eject your drives.
When your hard drive is transferring data with the computer, please do not directly unplug the hard disk when the data transfer is not completed. The correct way is to eject the drive from the computer when your data transfer is complete.
