This mSATA to SATA converter adapter enables you to repurpose mSATA Mini PCIE solidstate drives, converting them into regular 2.5inch SATA II 22pin storage devices compatible with most desktop PCs and laptops. Instead of setting aside idle mSATA SSDs, you can mount this assembly into any 2.5inch SATA drive bay for extra storage capacity or system drive replacement.

Following SATA II technical specification, the onboard conversion circuit maintains stable signal transmission for daily file access, largefile transfer and system bootup. The PCB board is designed with mounting holes, allowing you to fix the adapter together with mSATA SSD firmly inside the drive bay, effectively reducing intermittent recognition issues caused by vibration or movement.

Installation is straightforward. Secure your mSATA SSD onto the Mini PCIE slot with locking screw. Then connect common SATA data cable and SATA power cable to the 22pin SATA connector of the adapter. No additional driver or firmware modification is required. Complete disk formatting, partitioning or operatingsystem installation just like using an ordinary 2.5inch SATA hard drive or SSD.
