This adapter board is designed for 1.8inch 24pin LIF hard disk drives. It converts the proprietary LIF interface to standard 22pin SATA, allowing vintage 1.8inch LIF hard drives to work with common 2.5inch SATAcompatible notebooks, desktops and harddisk enclosures. The package includes the required connecting cable for convenient setup.
It supports basic readwrite operation for data rescue, file backup and old harddisk data migration. The smallsize printed circuit board can be mounted into a standard 2.5inch harddisk bay for tidy internal installation.
Installation steps: connect your 1.8" LIF hard drive to the LIF socket on this adapter, attach the supplied cable, then link SATA data and SATA power to motherboard or harddisk enclosure. Most operating systems will detect the hard disk automatically without complicated driver installation.
Perfect for data recovery from retired smallformfactor hard drives and legacy hardware reuse. Important note: This adapter only works for 1.8inch 24pin LIF HDD, not compatible with ZIF interface hard disks. The actual performance follows the original 1.8inch hard disk speed limit.
