This 2pack SATA to IDE 40pin male adapter card enables modern SATA interface motherboards to communicate with traditional parallel IDE 40pin storage hardware, including 3.5inch IDE hard disk drives, CDROM and DVDROM optical drives compliant with ATA133 and ATA100 standards. It offers a practical solution for accessing data stored on older IDE hard drives without replacing the whole computer system.
Adopting mature conversion chip, this adapter maintains steady signal transmission during harddisk data reading, file copying and optical disc playback. The compact PCB board takes minimal internal chassis space, convenient for desktop PC installation. Please note this adapter handles data signal only; separate 4pin Molex power supply is still required for your IDE hard drive or optical drive.
