This halfsize mSATA to SATA converter card allows you to install an mSATA solidstate drive into devices with standard 7pin SATA interface. It turns halfsize mSATA SSD into ordinary SATAform storage, making the mSATA SSD usable inside 2.5inch or 3.5inch harddrive bays of desktop PCs.
Adopting mature conversion chip solution, this adapter maintains full SATA bandwidth for fast readwrite performance, supports system booting, daily file access and data backup. The compact halfsize circuit board avoids space conflicts inside narrow chassis. Please note this adapter only handles data signal; separate SATA 15pin power supply is required for the whole assembly.
Easy hardware installation: insert your halfsize mSATA SSD onto this converter board, then connect the 7pin SATA data cable and 15pin SATA power cable from motherboard and power supply. No extra driver installation needed under mainstream operating systems.
