    This IDE PATA 40pin to SATA female converter PCBA board bridges traditional parallel ATA IDE hard drives and modern SATAbased computer systems. It converts 40pin IDE PATA signal into SATA female interface, allowing users to reuse vintage 3.5inch IDE hard disk drives on desktops without native IDE ports.

    Package includes a 7pin SATA data cable, used to link this converter board to motherboard SATA connector. The original IDE hard drive still needs its separate 4pin Molex power supply for normal operation. Pure hardware conversion design, no extra driver installation needed after correct wiring.

    Compact bareboard PCBA form saves installation space inside computer case. Please note this adapter only works for 40pin PATA IDE hard disk, not compatible with 44pin notebook IDE drives.
