Without this adapter, the 3.5inch tray accepts standard 3.5inch SAS or SATA hard drives; once fitted with the included converter bracket, you can mount 2.5inch SAS / SATA SSD or HDD into the same 3.5inch bay, giving flexible mixedstorage upgrade options. The metal tray features originalstyle LED indicator lights to show drive working status and fault alerts for quick serverroom troubleshooting. Precisionaligned contact pins guarantee stable highspeed data transmission for RAID configuration, avoiding poorcontact readwrite errors under longtime heavyduty server workload. It supports hotswap function, allowing drive replacement without full server shutdown under proper operating procedures.
