This Compact Flash CF to 3.5inch IDE converter adapter turns your standard CF memory card into a 3.5inch IDE hard disk replacement. Equipped with 3.5" IDE male connector, it supports both 39pin and 40pin IDE interfaces, widely used for industrial control PCs, CNC devices, old desktop motherboards and retro computer systems.
Insert the CF card into the adapter slot, connect the IDE data cable and 4pin Molex power supply, then the CF card will function as an IDE hard drive. No additional driver or software installation needed. It can be smoothly recognized by DOS, Windows 98, Windows XP and many embedded industrial operating systems.
Different from traditional mechanical IDE hard drives, this CFbased storage has no moving parts, bringing antishock performance, zero vibration, low heat generation and lower power draw. The PCB board fits regular 3.5inch hard disk mounting position inside chassis. It is a costeffective solution to repair and upgrade legacy hardware.
