This STANSTAR USB 3.0 to IDE/SATA hard drive converter adapter is a multipurpose storage reading tool, enabling you to access old IDE and SATA hard disks, solidstate drives and optical drives via computer USB port without installing the drive inside PC chassis. It is compatible with 2.5inch and 3.5inch SATA HDD & SSD, IDE hard disk drives and optical drives, supporting storage capacity up to 5TB, well suited for old disk data recovery, file backup, disk detection and data migration work.

Equipped with a handy physical power switch, users can cut off power supply conveniently instead of plugging or unplugging power cables repeatedly, protecting hard drives from frequent powercycle impact.
