What is Write Protection

Write protection function:

Work: Power indicator light (green light for normal hard disk operation, blue light for abnormality)

Lock: Write protection indicator light (green light when write protection is on, light off when it is off)

Smart Key: Write protection switch (press 5 times to switch the write protection state)

Write protection has a memory function (after switching the write protection state, it will take effect after re-plugging)

When the write protection is turned on, the file data in the hard disk cannot be modified or saved after modification, so to avoid data being modified by mistake

When the write protection is turned on, any files in the hard disk cannot be deleted and no delete option will appear
