Write Protection Function: Enable the write protection function by pressing the touch button five times consecutively. Once the orange light of hard disk box is on, reconnect the data cable to activate the write protection feature. With write protection enabled, you can ensure that no files are accidentally overwritten or deleted from your hard drive.

Write Protection Release: To disable the write protection function, simply press the touch button five times consecutively again. Once the green light of solid state drive case is on, reconnect the data cable to release the write protection feature and regain full access to write data onto the external hard drive.

Sleep Mode: When there is no data reading or writing activity, the SSD enclosure will enter sleep mode after 10 minutes. The colorful LED lights will flash, indicating its power-saving state, ensuring efficient energy usage.

Writing Data: During normal operation without write protection, the green light will flash when reading or writing data. When write protection is enabled, the orange light will flash to indicate that data is being read or written with write protection activated.

Safe Ejection Feature: When it's time to disconnect the portable external SSD case, the blue light will illuminate, indicating that it is safe to remove the device. This feature ensures that your data remains intact and protected during the ejection process.
