SFF-8482 SAS 29Pin to USB Hard Disk Drive RAID Adapter with built-in chipset and power port (requires 12V/3A power supply).

This card requires a 12V/3A DC 5.5 × 2.1mm plug power supply. The power supply is NOT included in the package; you need to purchase it separately if you do not have one.

This adapter has a built-in chip that converts a SAS disk to the USB interface of a common motherboard, so USB computers can also use SAS disks without any SAS RAID card. If your USB interface does not support SAS functions, connect our adapter and it can directly read/write SAS hard disks. Supports Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux operating systems.

After conversion, the SMART information of the SAS hard disk may display incomplete or no information, but this will not affect normal reading and writing. Supports transmission rates of SAS/SATA 6.0Gbps, 3.0Gbps, and 1.5Gbps. Offers throughput up to 5Gbps when used with a USB 3.0 host and deviceabout 10x the capability of USB 2.0.

Note: Only SFF-8482 SAS hard disks are supported. SFF-8639 U.2 hard disks are NOT supported.
