Hardware installation
Please first installed the M.2 SSD into the adapter, then follow these steps:
1.Turn Off the power to your computer.
2. Unplug the power cord and remove your computers cover.
3. To install the card, carefully align the cards bus connector with the selected PCIe slot on the motherboard. Push the board down firmly.
4. Replace the slot brackets holding screw to secure the card.
5. Replace the computer cover and reconnect the power cord.

Motherboard BIOS Setting
Please refer to your motherboard instructions before setting up, or you can ask your motherboard vendor if the motherboard support PCIe x16 bifurcation function. Because the BIOS of most motherboards defaults to PCIe in X16 mode. so we must set it at the boot time. And different motherboard setup are also different, please refer your motherboard user manual for details
