This 2-in-1 combo converter board bridges M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA SSDs to U.2 SFF-8639 storage interfaces for servers, workstations and enterprise storage enclosures. It features two independent M.2 slots: one for M-Key NVMe PCIe SSDs and another for B-Key NGFF SATA SSDs, supporting all common 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 drive lengths.
Important Functional Limitation Reminder: Hardware protocol difference restricts NVMe SSD to SATA conversion; NVMe M.2 drives only output PCIe signal via U.2 port, while SATA M.2 SSDs can connect to SATA devices separately. No cross-protocol translation between NVMe and SATA is available on this passive adapter.
