This Type-C multi-port SATA expansion card adopts mature JMicron dual control chip solution, using JMS580 as USB-C bridge and JM575 to manage 5 independent SATA 3.0 channels. It enables one single Type-C port to connect five SATA hard drives or SSDs at once for centralized data access.

Note: High-power 3.5-inch mechanical hard disks must be equipped with an external power supply to guarantee stable operation; low-power 2.5-inch SATA SSDs can work via Type-C bus power alone.
