This bidirectional IDE-SATA conversion adapter adopts industry mature JM20330 bridge chip to realize seamless signal conversion between 2.5-inch 44Pin notebook IDE and SATA interfaces, solving compatibility problems between vintage IDE laptops and modern SATA storage devices.
Two plug directions are available: 90° elbow connector saves vertical space for slim notebooks; 180° straight connector suits general modification scenarios. It fully supports ATA100 and ATA133 IDE hard disks, IDE CD/DVD optical drives, and works with 2.5-inch SATA SSD/HDD as replacement storage for old IDE devices.
Limited by IDE transmission standard, the maximum transfer speed reaches 1.5Gbps. The thin PCB design will not cause installation jamming inside 2.5-inch notebook hard drive bays. Gold-plated pins resist oxidation and maintain stable long-term connection.
Driver-free design works with Windows XP, Win7, DOS and various industrial Linux systems, and can be used as a system boot disk. Ideal for refurbishing vintage IDE notebooks, industrial control equipment, POS terminals and retro PCs to replace slow aging IDE hard drives with fast SATA solid-state drives.
