This SFF-8482 SAS to SATA adapter acts as a signal bridge for enterprise-grade SAS hard drives, enabling you to connect 29Pin SFF-8482 SAS disks to regular SATA motherboards without expensive RAID expansion cards.
All metal contacts adopt thick gold plating to cut electromagnetic interference and avoid poor connection issues after years of continuous work, ensuring stable read-write performance for mass data storage, data backup and server disk reuse.
It supports full-size 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SAS hard drives from Seagate, WD, Toshiba, Hitachi and other professional storage brands. The compact lightweight PCB takes little space inside PC chassis or small server cases with simple installation steps.
No complicated software setup needed, plug and play on Windows and Linux operating systems.
Note: This adapter only works with SFF-8482 direct-attached SAS hard drives, not compatible with SFF-8087 / SFF-8643 Mini SAS cables or ordinary SATA SSD/HDD without SAS pins.
