This SATA 3 to M.2 B Key adapter card acts as a bidirectional converter between SATA III interface and NGFF M.2 B Key slot. It allows you to install an M.2 SATA SSD onto a motherboards spare SATA port, or reuse old M.2 B Key SATA drives on traditional SATA hardware for storage upgrade and data backup.
It fully supports four mainstream M.2 lengths: 30mm, 42mm, 60mm and 80mm (2230/2242/2260/2280), covering most consumer M.2 SATA SSDs from Samsung, Crucial, Kingston, Western Digital and other brands. Each transmission channel reaches maximum SATA 3.0 6Gbps speed, ensuring smooth performance for daily file storage, video editing and system booting.
The circuit board adopts black PCB material with thick gold-plated pins to cut electromagnetic interference and avoid poor contact after long-time operation. Mini size saves internal chassis space and simplifies wiring layout.
No complicated software setup is needed. It is automatically recognized by Windows, Linux and Mac OS systems after installation.
Note: This adapter only works with B Key SATA M.2 SSD. It is NOT compatible with M Key / B+M Key NVMe PCIe M.2 drives.
