This M.2 male to female extension adapter extends 2230-size M.2 SSD to fit 2242 mounting bays, perfectly solving physical size mismatch issues for storage upgrade on compact devices. It works with two mainstream M.2 standards separately: M-Key PCIe NVMe solid state drives and B+M Key SATA NGFF SSDs; note that cross conversion between NVMe and SATA is not supported.

Specially optimized for Lenovo Legion Go portable game handheld and ThinkPad X270/X280/T470/T480/L480/T580 series notebooks, it allows users to install mainstream 2242 SSDs into native 2230 slots for larger storage capacity.
