This bare PCBA adapter realizes mutual signal conversion between old 40Pin PATA IDE 3.5-inch desktop hard drives and modern SATA motherboards. It allows you to connect outdated IDE hard disks to mainboards without IDE ports for data reading, backup and recovery.
Supporting SATA 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 transmission standards, the converter delivers steady read and write performance for long-time file access. The lightweight circuit board occupies little internal chassis space, making it suitable for retro PC renovation and industrial equipment storage replacement.
No additional driver installation is needed after wiring the IDE hard disk and SATA cable. It perfectly matches mainstream Windows and Linux operating systems, serving as an economical solution to recover valuable data stored on old 3.5-inch PATA hard drives.
