This SATA to 40Pin IDE PATA converter PCBA enables you to install new SATA solid state drives and mechanical hard disks onto legacy desktop motherboards only equipped with IDE interfaces. It works with both 2.5-inch laptop SATA drives and 3.5-inch desktop SATA HDDs, providing an affordable storage upgrade solution for vintage computers and industrial control devices.
The adapter supports SATA 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 transmission protocols to maintain smooth data access performance. Adopting bare circuit board design, it takes up minimal internal chassis space and fits most standard PC cases without modification.
No complicated driver setup is required after wiring. It runs stably on classic Windows and Linux systems, widely used for retro computer reconstruction, industrial machine storage replacement and old equipment data storage expansion.
Note: SATA cables, IDE cables and hard drives are not included in the package.
