This NGFF SATA M.2 to 44Pin IDE PATA adapter card allows you to install modern M.2 SATA solid-state drives into legacy desktops that only feature IDE storage ports, effectively upgrading old PCs by replacing outdated noisy IDE mechanical hard disks.
It only supports B Key and B+M Key SATA M.2 SSDs in 2230/2242/2260/2280 sizes; M-Key NVMe M.2 drives are not compatible. The circuit board follows standard 3.5-inch hard drive dimensions for easy fixing inside traditional computer chassis without extra brackets.
No complicated driver installation required after connecting IDE data and power cables. It maintains steady read-write performance and drastically boosts boot speed and program loading speed compared to original IDE HDDs.
Perfect for retro PC renovation, industrial control equipment storage replacement and old machine data storage expansion.
Note: M.2 SSD, IDE cable and power cord are not included; NVMe-only M.2 SSD cannot work with this adapter.
