This multi-functional hard drive reader converter kit supports both legacy IDE/PATA storage devices and standard SATA 2.5/3.5-inch mechanical hard drives & solid-state drives, solving the connection problem of mixed old and new hard disks for data recovery work.
It comes with both USB-A and Type-C dual output interfaces to connect mainstream laptops, desktops and Type-C devices. Adopting USB 3.0 transmission standard and UASP acceleration protocol, it greatly improves the copying efficiency of large files such as videos and raw images.
A matched 12V/2A external power adapter is included specially for power-hungry 3.5-inch desktop hard drives, avoiding insufficient USB port power causing drive recognition failure. Gold-plated IDE and SATA contacts effectively resist oxidation and reduce signal interference for long stable read-write.
No extra driver installation required after wiring the hard drive and power supply. It is a necessary tool for IT maintenance personnel, personal data backup and old equipment disk data migration.
