This NGFF SATA M.2 to 44Pin IDE PATA adapter board allows users to install modern M.2 SATA solid state drives on vintage desktops and industrial devices that only retain IDE storage ports, replacing slow noisy old IDE mechanical hard disks for performance upgrade.
It only supports B Key and B+M Key SATA M.2 SSD in 2230/2242/2260/2280 sizes; M-Key NVMe M.2 drives cannot be recognized. The circuit board follows universal 3.5-inch hard disk dimension, which can be fixed inside traditional computer chassis easily.
With maximum transfer speed up to 150MB/s, it greatly shortens system boot time and software loading time compared to traditional IDE HDDs. Gold-plated IDE and M.2 slot contacts ensure steady signal transmission during continuous read and write.
