This professional 7+17Pin conversion adapter is exclusively designed for MacBook Pro Retina 13" A1425 and 15" A1398 released in Mid 2012 & Early 2013, matching all sub-models including MC975, MC976, MD212, MD213, ME662, ME664 and ME665.
It solves the compatibility limitation of Apples exclusive 7+17Pin SSD slot, allowing you to install mainstream M.2 NGFF B-Key SATA SSD or Mini PCI-e mSATA SSD to replace the small-capacity original factory Mac SSD, greatly boosting storage space and system running speed.
The PCB adopts precise pin layout and high-purity gold-plated terminals to cut electromagnetic interference and signal attenuation, maintaining full SATA III 6Gbps bandwidth for smooth system boot, software loading and large media file editing. The overall size is identical to the original Apple SSD, no cutting, drilling or case modification required for internal installation.
Only supports SATA protocol storage drives (NVMe M-Key SSD is not supported). Reserved standard screw holes fit 2280-size M.2 SATA SSD and full-size mSATA drives.
