This all-in-one storage solution includes a 3.5-inch LFF hot-swap hard drive caddy and a matching 2.5-inch drive adapter, serving as a direct replacement for Dell OEM trays with part numbers X7K8W, 0X7K8W, Y796F and 0Y796F.
It is custom-built for Dell PowerEdge 14th, 15th and 16th Generation rack and tower servers, covering R640, R740, R650, R750, T550, R660, R760 and T560. The vented metal structure maximizes internal airflow to lower drive operating temperature and reduce vibration damage during 24/7 enterprise workloads.
The removable 2.5-inch converter bracket allows flexible installation of small-form-factor SSDs into standard 3.5-inch bays, compatible with all mainstream 2.5-inch NVMe, SAS, SATA solid-state drives and 3.5-inch SAS/SATA mechanical hard drives.
