This set includes two 3.5-inch LFF hot-swap hard drive caddies equipped with detachable 2.5-inch drive conversion brackets, designed as a versatile replacement tray for multiple generations of Dell PowerEdge rack and tower servers.
Wide compatible server models cover R410, T410, R515, T610, R710, T710, R420, T420, R520, T620, R720, R430, T430, R530, T630, R730, R930 and 5510. The thickened ventilated metal housing maximizes internal airflow to lower drive operating temperature and reduce vibration wear, safeguarding storage hardware under 24/7 continuous enterprise workloads.
The detachable 2.5-inch adapter enables flexible storage configuration. You can install standard 3.5-inch large form factor mechanical hard drives directly, or mount compact 2.5-inch small form factor SSDs/HDDs after attaching the converter bracket, fully compatible with NVMe, SAS and SATA storage drives.
Built with an ergonomic hot-swap handle and dual LED status lights, IT maintenance staff can quickly add, remove or upgrade storage devices without cutting server power, effectively minimizing data center maintenance downtime. All required fixing screws are pre-packaged for fast assembly.
