AJMRTC SFF-8482 SAS 29Pin to USB3.0 adapter lets regular computers directly read server SAS hard drives without installing expensive SAS RAID controller cards. Built-in chip handles SAS protocol conversion, offering 5Gbps USB 3.0 bandwidth for data recovery, disk inspection and file backup. It features a dedicated DC power jack. A separate 12V/3A power adapter must be prepared to power SAS hard disks, especially 3.5-inch enterprise HDDs. Compatible with 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SFF-8482 SAS drives, plug and play under mainstream Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems. Ideal for IT technicians, data recovery work and accessing retired server RAID disks. Note: SAS SMART information may display incompletely after conversion, which will not affect normal read and write functions.
