AJMRTC SFF-8482 29Pin SAS to USB 3.0 adapter converts enterprise SAS hard drives to standard USB 3.0 connection. Equipped with integrated protocol chipset, it enables regular PCs and laptops to read SAS disks without purchasing SAS RAID cards. It reaches 5Gbps transfer speed for fast file migration and data recovery from retired server RAID disks. This adapter features a DC power port; a separate 12V/3A power adapter is required to power SAS hard drives, especially 3.5-inch models. Supports both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SFF-8482 SAS HDDs. Plug and play on Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems. Note: SAS SMART data may show incomplete after conversion and will not affect normal read-write performance.
