It supports PCIe Gen3, Gen4 and Gen5 with up to 64Gbps bandwidth to retain full SSD performance. It is a practical upgrade part for motherboards with limited native M.2 slots, allowing flexible expansion of high-speed NVMe storage. SATA SSD is not supported.
