AJMRTC NAS-S 2Bay SATA hard drive backplane is a dedicated adapter board for custom NAS chassis, home storage servers and small DIY storage builds. It adopts SATA III 6Gbps specification to deliver fast read and write performance for your SATA HDDs and SSDs, ideal for file storage, media libraries and data backup pools. It accepts both 2.5-inch solid-state drives and 3.5-inch mechanical hard drives, giving flexible drive selection according to your capacity and speed requirements.

Each hard drive channel is equipped with independent power and signal circuits, with separate LED lights to show power status and disk activity. You can quickly check whether the hard drive is recognized and running normally without extra monitoring software. Hot-swap capability lets you replace drives without shutting down the whole system, which greatly improves maintenance efficiency for long-running storage servers. Please note that hot-swap function must be turned on in your motherboard BIOS settings to take effect.

The PCB uses immersion gold plating and controlled impedance routing to reduce signal interference and transmission errors during long-time continuous operation. It adopts large 4D power input to provide stable, clean power supply for two hard drives, avoiding unexpected drive dropouts under heavy load. This backplane is suitable for self-built NAS projects, IT storage test platforms and custom small server chassis modification. It is only the backplane board, not including chassis, hard drive trays or SATA cables.
