AJMRTC external SSD enclosure is custom made for the proprietary 20+6Pin SATA SSD pulled from early ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen1 and Gen2 laptops. It converts the unique 20+6Pin port to standard USB-C for easy access on modern PCs and laptops. It supports SATA 3.0 speed up to 6Gbps and UASP acceleration for faster file cloning and data rescue. The compact plastic housing protects the SSD while the LED lights show power and read/write activity. Important note: it only works with the special 20+6Pin X1 Carbon SATA SSD and is NOT compatible with regular M.2 NGFF SSD. It works without extra driver for most mainstream operating systems, ideal for IT technicians and users salvaging old X1 Carbon storage drives.
