ADM-2813 Industrial USB to RS485/RS422/RS232/TTL Serial Converter, FT232 Chip with Photoelectric Isolation, DIN Rail Mount USB Serial Adapter

ADM-2813 is an industrial-grade multi-protocol USB to serial adapter designed for factory automation, PLC debugging, sensor data acquisition and industrial equipment transformation.

This single module realizes mutual conversion between USB signal and four mainstream serial standards: RS232, RS485, RS422 and TTL, greatly reducing the quantity of adapters on-site and simplifying cabinet wiring layout. The internal optoelectronic isolation barrier cuts off common-mode voltage and surge interference between computer and field equipment, solving communication disconnection and hardware damage caused by different ground potentials in workshops.

Adopting genuine FT232 chip, the converter maintains low-latency reliable data transmission at all standard baud rates. For half-duplex RS485 bus, it features automatic TX/RX direction switching to eliminate manual control wiring. Multiple layers of ESD, lightning and surge protection are added to signal terminals to adapt to harsh industrial working conditions.

The plastic shell is equipped with a standard DIN rail buckle, which can be directly fixed inside electrical control cabinets for centralized wiring management. It draws power entirely from the USB port of PC or industrial host, requiring no independent DC power adapter. Power, transmit and receive indicator LEDs clearly display real-time communication status for convenient troubleshooting.

It is widely used in Modbus sensor data collection, frequency converter debugging, industrial monitoring systems, laboratory serial signal testing and renovation of legacy serial industrial equipment.
