It supports two Serial ATA channels (up to two devices simultaneously) plus one Parallel ATA channel (up to two devices). With PCMCIA/CardBus support, it can handle two additional Serial ATA devices. The Xin-B009s dual-channel Serial ATA delivers 12% higher bandwidth than ATA-133 between storage devices and CPU, with each channel reaching up to 150MB/s critical for precise data transmission and improved storage performance.

RAID levels supported include RAID0 (performance), RAID1 (security), and JBOD. For backward compatibility, the Xin-B009 integrates a single-channel Parallel ATA-133 controller, eliminating the need for additional adapters.
