CH382 is a PCI-Express bus dual serial port and parallel port chip, integrating two asynchronous serial ports compatible with 16C550 or 16C750, and one EPP/ECP enhanced bidirectional parallel port.

The asynchronous serial ports feature independent 256-byte FIFO buffers for both transmit and receive, supporting communication baud rates up to 8Mbps. They are suitable for PCI-E bus RS232 serial port expansion, PCI-E high-speed serial ports with automatic hardware flow control, serial port networking, RS485 communication, and parallel port / printer port expansion.

Key Features:

The same chip can be configured as PCI-E bus dual serial ports, single parallel/printer port, or dual serial ports plus parallel/printer port.

Provides a 2-wire serial host interface for connecting serial EEPROM devices (such as 24C0X series) for non-volatile data storage.

Vendor ID, Device ID, Class Code, and other PCIe board identifiers can be configured via the EEPROM device.

3.3V power supply voltage, with main I/O pins supporting 5V tolerance; supports low-power sleep mode for serial ports.

Parallel Port:

1. Supports IEEE1284 parallel/printer port operating modes including SPP, Nibble, Byte, PS/2, EPP, and ECP.
2. Supports bidirectional data transfer with speeds up to 1 MByte/sec.
