ADM-2813 is an industrial-grade opto-isolated USB to multi-serial converter specially designed for factory automation, PLC debugging, sensor data acquisition and industrial equipment communication. Equipped with genuine FT232RL USB serial chip, it converts computer USB signal into RS485, RS422, RS232 or 5V TTL signal without external power supply, powered solely by USB bus.
Built-in independent photoelectric isolation circuit with 1500V isolation voltage completely cuts off ground loop current between computer and field industrial equipment, effectively avoiding signal crash caused by voltage difference and electrical noise. It integrates comprehensive protection circuits: 600W lightning surge suppression, 15kV ESD anti-static, self-recovery fuse and TVS transient voltage absorption, greatly improving stability in workshop, power plant and heavy machinery environments.
The RS485 channel supports half-duplex 2-wire communication with automatic data direction control, no manual DIP switch required for TX/RX switching, and can connect up to 32 slave devices at a maximum transmission distance of 1000 meters at 1200bps baud rate; RS422 full-duplex 4-wire and RS232 point-to-point communication are also supported, plus universal 5V TTL UART interface for MCU and embedded modules debugging.
With standard 35mm DIN rail buckle at the back, the module can be directly clipped on electrical cabinet rails for neat wiring layout. LED indicators display power status and real-time TX/RX data transmission for quick troubleshooting. It supports all mainstream desktop and notebook operating systems, plug-and-play after driver installation, widely applied to PLC, inverter, temperature transmitters, weighing instruments and industrial monitoring systems.
