What is in the Package?

The Yankok RJ45 CAT7 Pass-Through Shielded Connectors are used by network installers/technicians in order to terminate CAT7 network cables with a pass-through crimper. They are used in households and businesses and are ideal for terminating a round network cable or even replacing an existing connector. These connectors feature gold plating for greater signal quality, tripoint-type prongs for both solid and stranded cables, clear housing so the operator can see the wire pairs easily, and have a pass-through design which makes it easy to terminate cables and reduces risk of poor connection and signal loss. This product comes in a pack of 100 connectors.

T568A or T568B - Which One Should I Use?

If the installation is residential, choose T568A unless other conditions apply. If components used within the project are internally wired either T568A or T568B, duplicate this wiring scheme. Use your fingers to put the wires in the correct order so they can be properly crimped. The proper sequence is as follows from left to right: T568A - White/Green, Green, White/Orange, Blue, White/Blue, Orange, White/Brown, Brown. T568B - White/Orange, Orange, White/Green, Blue, White/Blue, Green, White/Brown, Brown.

3-Prong Pins VS. 2-Prong Pins

The wrong type of pin structure (2-Prong Pin design) for today RJ45 applications are commonly used. Yankok only uses a 3-Prong Pin design that works best for both solid and stranded wire conductors. A 3-Prong Pin provides 3 points of contact with the copper wire conductor instead of 2. This improves electrical performance and signal integrity.

Nickel and Gold Plating Pins

The correct specifications for RJ45 require the use of 50µ micron thick 24ct gold plated over a phosphor bronze base metal coated with 100µ of nickel plating like ours. This significantly increases plug performance and has lower resistance. Why is this important? Phosphor bronze is an alloy that is very hard and has excellent electrically conductive properties.

EZ Pass Through Connectors

The One-Piece modular plug with transparent body makes identifying the wire sequence easier and helps to reduce scrap and wasted crimps. Simplify network cable termination by allowing the wires to pass through the connector, that means you do not have to measure and cut the wires before termination, will help to build better connection and signal increasing.
