Alphacool ES RTX A5000 GPU Cooler With Backplate (10669)

The Alphacool ES RTX A5000 GPU water cooler with backplate was specially developed for the Alphacool Enterprise series. In addition to the GPU, the full-cover cooler with aluminum backplate also cools all important components such as voltage converters and the graphics memory directly with water. Rear connections? Server cases offer different dimensions than normal PC cases. In order to save space in width and height, the connections have been moved to the rear. Another advantage is the easier tubing of a complete server rack with this type of positioning of the connections.

This means that quick-release fasteners with a G1/4" external thread can even be screwed directly to the graphics card, as is already the case with Alphacool. More performance! During the development of the ES RTX A5000 graphics card water cooler, value was of course also placed on increasing performance. In the first step, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1mm. In the second step, the nickel-plated copper block was also made thinner. Instead of the previous 7mm, it is only 5.5 mm thick.

The water flow has also been optimized inside the cooler. All important components such as the voltage converters and the RAM are now cooled much better and more effectively by the water. All this ensures a significant increase in cooling capacity. copper or aluminum? Alphacool only uses copper for all water-carrying parts on the coolers. The copper of the ES RTX A5000 cooler is nickel-plated. Compared to the previous models, Alphacool has again improved the type of nickel plating, which has significantly increased acid resistance. This should prevent the nickel plating from chipping off.

And why does Alphacool use copper instead of aluminium? Copper simply has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminum and is therefore clearly the better material for water cooling.
