    The HPE radiators are based on the NexXxoS series. But whats new? The HPE version features additional cooling channels and a very high fin density. Due to its technical design, cooling performance is significantly increased without restricting water flow within the radiator. When fans are mounted on both sides in push/pull configuration, a noticeable drop in water temperature can be achieved compared to standard radiators.

    The Radiators are designed specifically for industrial and server environments. Thanks to thicker cooling channels and reinforced welds, they are built to withstand operating pressures of up to 5 Bar, ensuring maximum reliability in demanding industrial use.

    In traditional PC radiators, water flows in a U-shape, meaning the inlet and outlet are on the same side. This has certain advantages in typical PC setups. However, creating a proper water loop in an extremely flat server is difficult this way. Thanks to X-Flow technology, the inlet and outlet are on opposite sides. This makes it easy to implement a circular water flow in a server rack: exiting one side directly into a CPU, possibly then through one or more graphics cards, and returning on the other side to the radiator.

    To maximize the radiators performance, Alphacool uses pure copper for the cooling fins, cooling channels, and chambers due to its high thermal conductivity of 400 W/mK (by comparison: aluminum has 236 W/mK). The radiators high fin density with a spacing of 15 FPI allows for optimal airflow. All cooling fins are also equipped with small flapstiny wings that guide the airflow in the desired direction and create controlled turbulence. This increases cooling performance and reduces potential flow noise.

    In the area of the pre-chambers, each side features three IN or OUT ports with G1/4" threads. All screws required for mounting the radiator in a case and for attaching the fans are included. Additional screws are usually not necessary.

    A special protective feature ensures that fan or mounting screws cannot be driven in too deeply. Protective plates have been placed beneath all mounting holes to prevent over-tightening. This protects the cooling fins and water channels underneath from damage.

    All NexXxoS HPE X-Flow radiators use Alphacool's patented sealing plugs. Anyone who has ever mounted a radiator to the front or top of a case knows that protruding sealing plugs can prevent the radiator from sitting flush. With Alphacools patented sealing plugs, this issue is solved. The sealing plugs are completely recessed and sit flush with the surface of the radiator. This ensures a clean installation. Of course, the radiators also look significantly more refined with these flat plugs.
