The Alphacool ES Reservoir DDCzero 1U with Pump is an ultra-low-profile reservoir with an integrated Alphacool DDCzero PWM pump, standing less than 42 mm tall for 1U rackmount servers. It is designed specifically for servers, data centers and industrial liquid cooling applications, and the pump comes in the box.

Purpose-built for rackmount installations

This is a compact, professional-grade reservoir and pump combination, engineered specifically for space-constrained environments where every millimeter matters. Its height allows it to fit a 1U rack while delivering the reliable coolant circulation required for continuous operation. It can be deployed in enterprise servers, HPC clusters, industrial equipment or compact workstation cooling systems. Whether in one or the other, it provides a space-efficient solution that combines flexible connectivity, durable construction and efficient pump performance in a single unit. That compact design is ideal for a loop with little room around it.

Features of the all-acetal housing

Both the reservoir body and the top are constructed entirely from acetal, designed for maximum strength and long-term reliability. The five integrated ports provide flexible options for inlet, outlet, fill and drain configurations, whatever the loop configuration. Their G1/4 threads are machined directly into the housing. Threaded connections made that way are meant to ensure secure, leak-resistant fittings without placing stress on more fragile materials. The reservoir has been pressure tested up to 4 bar and is recommended for operating pressures up to 2 bar, making it well suited for demanding systems requiring dependable performance.

PWM-controlled pump

The pump delivers up to 220 L/h of coolant flow, with a maximum head pressure of 1.4 meters. PWM speed control allows it to operate between 3,300 and 4,800 RPM, an adjustable operating range enabling system builders to optimize cooling performance while minimizing noise and power consumption. A ceramic shaft and robust construction are there for long-term operation in 24/7 environments. For mounting the pump, follow the instructions of the Core DDCzero PWM pump (13867). The pump should not be operated upside down.

What the loop needs

The reservoir has five ports and the package includes three G1/4 plugs along with the mounting hardware: two ports are used and the rest take the plugs. Before filling, make sure all openings are closed. Then fill the reservoir through the upper fill port with a funnel or beaker. To prevent the pump from running dry, keep filling until the water level does not drop further.
