Installation
Installation is straightforward. The sealing cap is positioned in the mount where the pump would sit, with a suitable O-ring installed between the cap and the pump housing to create the seal. The existing VPP/D5 pump mounting bracket is then installed over the cap and secured to the housing. The mounting screws are tightened evenly, which should ensure proper positioning of the cap and O-ring. When it is sealed this way, the cap securely closes the pump opening to help prevent coolant leakage, which helps maintain the integrity of a securely sealed loop.
