EK Fluid Gaming A120

The EK Fluid Gaming A240 is a perfectly balanced liquid cooling kit. With its 240mm radiator, it brings silence to your gaming environment, and provides enough headroom for overclocking! The included pump and fans are all PWM controlled so that silent operation and efficient cooling power are dispatched according to user demand. Exhaust hot air directly from your PC and let your hardware breathe!

EK-Supremacy AX

This is a high-end CPU water block that brings excellent performance and attractive appearance! The EK-Supremacy AX features a black brushed aluminum faceplate which gives the water block an appealing minimalistic look that blends in with any hardware. It is a universal water block that fits all modern CPUs on the market, both Intel and AMD. Mounting mechanism that provides easy tool-less installation. EK-TIM Ectotherm thermal paste is supplied with the water block.

  • Liquid cooling standard G1/4“ ports
  • Brushed aluminum coldplate
  • Pre-assembled mounting mechanism

The heart of the cooling kit is the EK-ACR SPC-60 PWM pump-reservoir combo unit. The enclosed PWM series SPC pump offers premium hydraulic performance and full speed control for silent operation. Full performance on demand or whisper-quiet operation in idle mode, the two things which are key to liquid cooling.

  • Vibration canceling mounting points
EK-Vardar 120

The included EK-Vardar fan is an industrial-grade high-static pressure cooling fan, designed and built primarily for radiator use with liquid cooling systems. EK-Vardar is simply the best choice for radiator cooling whether you are planning to use it in a push or pull setup, as it provides unmatched performance throughout the entire operating range. The EK-AluStream radiator and the EK-Vardar fans are a perfect match for efficient heat dissipation.

The kit gets its name from the EK-AluStream SE 240 radiator it uses. It offers high-class cooling performance for its thickness of just 27.5mm. Dense aluminum fins combined with a slim profile provide a huge cooling surface, while the radiator remains highly compatible with most cases on the market. The EK-AluStream 240 radiator is optimized for maximum heat dissipation across the entire operational range of the fan thus delivering exceptional performance at both low and high airflow operation.

How easier can watercooling get?

Pros: -very straightforward directions
-while priced as a cheaper kit, parts feel well built
-VERY beginner friendly

Cons: -only gripe, more of a bump i ran into, was while installing the tubing, the compression part that had to be taken off would not come off so i had to first take off almost each fitting and use a clamp to hold one side of the fitting while i unscrewed in the opposite directions the part around it.

Overall Review: Other than that SMALL incident, this kit has helped drop my CPU temps by minimum over 20 Degress Celsius!
I was in complete awe by how amazing it performed, hopefully it'll last longer than today haha. I will post any edits if anything happens in the following months.

I would recommend this kit if you are new to watercooling, this or the a240g with a waterblock for the GPU. Either or, if you're willing to learn or try it out at least, buy either or of these kits they will not dissatisfy!

Simple, effective way to get into custom water cooling

Pros: - Relatively easy to understand and set up
- Expandable using other fluid gaming products
- Fantastic cooling potential
- Looks elegant when done properly

Cons: - No drain port
- Can be a bit much for beginners
- Aluminum, so don't mix metals!

Overall Review: EKWB has long been a mainstay in the custom water cooling scene, and while some may think of them becoming too mainstream of late, they still offer some fantastic products for varying levels of expertise.

This kit does a great job of holding your hand if you've never done custom water cooling and guiding you through what can sometimes be very complex. Everything is detailed and the kit comes with everything you need to get a basic loop set up that can be expanded with other products in the fluid gaming kit lineup, including a 360mm radiator and GPU blocks.

The big drawback to this kit is that it's all aluminum based, which means you can only use other fluid gaming products if you want to expand the loop, which is mostly fine since they offer a number of items you can buy to spruce the loop up. You want to stick with aluminum as mixing with other metals, as most standard water cooling products are either copper or nickel, will cause corrosion issues that you want to avoid.

That aside, the kit is fantastic for those new to the idea of a custom loop. It makes it as easy as possible on you and guides you through the entire process from installing the radiator, setting up your pump/reservoir, connecting the tubing, and leak testing.

If you want to expand with other types of products, EK does have normal starter kits that you can get instead, but this keeps it pretty simple and straightforward.

Oh, and it performs very well. Idle temps tend to hover around 31-33C while load temps can get up to around 70-75C on my 5820k, but that's with fans running half the speed I was using when I had an AIO keeping that CPU cool, which means virtually no noise whether at idle or load. It is a DDC pump, which isn't as good as a D5, but it gets the job done.

Solid kit from EK for first-time water coolers.

Very good

Pros: Simple to install, Lots of video's to watch and figure out. Not difficult at all if you have built a few rigs before, and even if you haven't.

Cons: None so far and its been 2 years, suppose I should change the fluid soon, lol.

Overall Review: As stated, I have been running it consistently for two years now, plus I drove across the country from Virginia to Washington State and didn't drain it for the trip (lazy). Just buckled it in the rear passenger seat and it fired right up with no leaks at all upon arrival in WA. Still going strong. Thinking about turning it into a hard line loop. Overall very very pleased with it. A good bargain. I will though move to a 360 radiator when I change to hard line, for extra cooling. Just NEVER use any other kind of metal with it, it all has to be aluminum, otherwise you'll get Galvanic corrosion bad. Stick to aluminum!

This is frustrating.... Updated

Pros: Everything went together fairly well. I have never done water cooling as I always fear the dreaded leak that will kill a board. This kit has everything to build a custom loop without having to buy a bunch of parts.

Cons: The ports on the CPU block both leak. I have checked and rechecked them. I took them off and can feel a small high spot on the acrylic where a casting mark is and I believe that is part of the problem. Sent a message but I don't have my hopes up that it's going to be a quick fix. I could go pick up some 1000 grit plus sand paper and see if that helps but since they will likely void the warranty if I do that I will wait. No matter what I doubt it will be running when the CPU shows up tomorrow. The cpu block had a sticker stating it was leak tested but that must have been before the ports were put in unless someone was asleep at the wheel.

Overall Review: I will not likely be building a computer again any time soon. My wife passed away two months ago and the small life insurance policy is building a computer so I can always think of her while I use it. Wanting it to last a long time I decided I wanted to go with liquid cooling and have something I can service or top off when needed or replace a pump if it goes bad vs an all in one system. Right now after putting everything together I am honestly at the point of just pulling it back out and just going with a good air cooler instead.

Update. I FINALLY got someone to respond and after going back and forth and then recording a video of the leak which it actually did without any pressure they sent out a replacement. Nearly a month of sitting around and I got things put together. If you get this before you do anything pull the waterblock out and remove the aluminium ports and see if the surface where the o-ring seats is smooth if it's not box it back up and RMA it for being defective. Otherwise so far it seems to be working out ok now. But the QC problem makes me still feel this is a 2 egg product especially since the part in question was "leak tested" at the factory.

Pros: Easy to install has everything needed thermal paste, anti corrosive biocide, adapters plates for all possible configurations

Cons: I would like a 3rd outlet on the pump to plumb a easy drain setup. But that can be plumbed inline as it is so it isn't really a con just a want.

Overall Review: Overall happy nice clean product

Very satisfied

Pros: Great compact AIO for Matx case. Plenty of tubing to customize your loop. Lots of hardware to fit your set up. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Included fans are very decent and quiet and move the air through the radiator very well. This is my first water cooled build and this AIO made it very simple to do. Getting the tubing on the fittings is difficult but if it was easy fit, it would leak.

Cons: .pump has a rattle, maybe air keeps getting trapped in the agitator chamber. Only 2 days of use and tubing seems to be getting cloudy. Using the clear solution that came with the cooler. (It had a slight yellow hue to it) no effective way to bleed all the air out of the system. Low availability of parts to extend and customize and add on to the all aluminum system.

Overall Review: This is a wonderful AIO and would recommend for first time water builds. I would like to suggest to the manufacturer to implement some sort of air bleeding chamber or valve. The pump works very well but I still have air showing up in the system and I think some of it is getting trapped in the pump making it rattle. The only way to get the air out is by taking the top off the reservoir, but there is no way to completely remove all the air. If you could run the system in a slight vacuum at ambient temps it would compensate for the natural heat expansion of the liquid and be less likely to leak under high temps.

Good quality but lackluster cooling capacity for hotter processors.

Pros: - Comes with everything you need to make a custom loop, while maintaining a size that will fit into smaller PC's
- Good build quality
- Instructions are very thorough and will get you through the build effortlessly even if this is your first loop

Cons: - Cooling capacity isn't sufficient: I used [competitor's 240mm AIO] cooler for my i7-8700k Mini ITX build (Case: NZXT H200i) and even when overclocked to 5GHz on all cores, I had no issue with heat. When I switched to this loop without changing anything else about the build, I constantly had high idle temps and higher temps overall through stress tests and general use, I've triple checked to make sure everything was done correctly and nothing seems amiss.

Overall Review: - This product will still work for non over-clocked CPU's that aren't known to run very hot and I would still recommend EKWB over other custom loop companies.
