The Bykski Armor pump with PWM has all you need to power your loop. The strong CP-D5PB-V2 pump has no problems with bigger cases and multiple components. Compact in a complete ready-to-use package. The speed of the pump can be controlled via the 4-pin PWM power cable by connecting to motherboard header or compatible PWM controller.

Pump Specific Warnings:

Use of caustic and/or abrasive coolant will void your warranty (see warranty section) and may cause your pump to fail. This pump comes stock without any housing, allowing you to integrate any of your favorite pump tops and accessories. Consequently, the pump cannot be used as a standalone unit. Do not run the pump dry.

The D5 and DDC range of pumps are designed to be self-lubricating, meaning the fluid that the pump is designed to move is also used to lubricate its internal parts. Therefore, you should not run the pumps without fluid for any reason. Running these pumps dry creates internal friction between the ceramic bearing and bearing housing, and that heat can quickly crack or melt the bearing housing.

Running D5 pumps dry (without fluid) immediately voids the warranty. Replacements will not be provided under these conditions.

It is easy for us to determine if your pump has been "run dry" or without fluid:

1. Visual scratches along the inside of the housing. These are created when the bearing housing melts and the impeller spins off-center.
2. The bearing housing has stress cracks or is melted, resulting from heat created when the pump is run dry.
3. The impeller sits too low in the housing, usually indicating that the ceramic bearing is falling through the normal housing location.
