The Bykski GPU Water Block and Backplate is a full-cover block that brings an MSI RTX 5090 class graphics card into a custom water-cooling loop. It is made for the MSI GeForce RTX 5090D 32GB Gaming Trio OC and also fits the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32GB Suprim OC and the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32GB Vanguard SOC. A nickel-plated copper cold plate, clear acrylic top, aluminum backplate and 5V addressable RGB lighting come together in one assembly.

Why it works

• One cold plate covers the GPU chip, memory and power stages, so their heat goes straight into the loop.
• 56 micro-channels, 0.3 mm wide, spread the flow across a wide surface for steady temperatures under long loads.
• T2 copper with electroless nickel plating, under a clear acrylic top.
• 5V ARGB lighting on a 3-pin header syncs with the rest of the build.
• With the fan cooler gone, the card runs quieter and becomes a visible part of the loop.

Installation

• Remove the stock cooler from the card and clean the old thermal material from the GPU chip, memory and power stages.
• Set the block on the card, then mount the backplate with the included screws.
• Install the card in the PC and connect the block's G1/4 ports to the loop.
• Connect the lighting cable, then fill and bleed the loop.

Warnings

Never power the card without the loop installed and the pump running.

Thermal pads go where the block has raised contact points; the GPU chip takes thermal paste.

Tighten the block's screws evenly and finger tight; over-tightening can crack the acrylic top.

The lighting plugs into a 5V 3-pin addressable (ARGB) header or an ARGB controller only. A 12V 4-pin RGB header will damage it.
