SY-PEX30016 is a professional PCI Express X1 FireWire expansion card equipped with Texas Instruments XIO2213B industrial control chip, which solves the problem that modern motherboards lack native 1394 interfaces and cannot connect old FireWire peripherals.
It integrates dual 9-pin 1394B high-speed ports with 800Mbps bandwidth and a single 6-pin 1394A standard port with 400Mbps bandwidth, covering most FireWire camcorders, external hard disks, audio interfaces and collection devices on the market. The PCIe 1.1 X1 bus realizes full-duplex transmission, ensuring no frame drop during video capture and stable audio signal transmission.
The card supports hot swap, allowing users to plug and unplug FireWire devices without shutting down the computer. It is widely used in video editing, music recording and data backup scenarios.
Special note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 built-in generic drivers cannot identify this card properly. Users need to download and install the matching legacy FireWire driver to enable full port functions. Standard full-height metal bracket is equipped for firm installation in all ATX/MATX chassis.
