AJMRTC PCIe Firewire 400 expansion card adds four IEEE 1394a ports to your desktop PC. It includes both 6-pin powered and 4-pin DV style Firewire ports for legacy camcorders, audio gear, external hard drives and old video editing equipment. It supports up to 400Mbps and automatically negotiates lower speeds. It supports hot-swap for easy connecting and disconnecting Firewire devices. It is widely used for HD video capture from DV camcorders and professional audio setups. Driver installation may be required for some operating systems.
